Welcome to Hong Kong Airlines’ In-flight Meal Pre-selection Service. Exclusively for business class customers, this service is available on all flights departing from Hong Kong to Auckland, Cairns, Gold Coast, Los Angeles and Vancouver, from 30 days before the flight right up to 24 hours before departure. It offers you the opportunity to pre-select your main meal before your flight, and is designed to help you plan your journey ahead.
If you have ordered, or intend to order special meals, please do so through our Call Centre by calling +852 3916-3666 no later than 24 hours before your flight.
If you later decide to cancel your flight, your pre-selected meal(s) will automatically be cancelled. If you later need to change the date of your flight, your pre-selected meal(s) will automatically be cancelled. Unfortunately, the In-flight Meal Pre-selection Service is not available on your re-scheduled flight at the moment.

1. Placing your order
1.1 In-flight Meal Pre-selection Service are only available for flights departing from Hong Kong to Auckland, Cairns, Gold Coast Los Angeles and Vancouver;
1.2 HKA business class passenger shall make request for In-flight Meal Pre-selection Service no later than twenty-four (24) hours before the scheduled flight. The In-flight Meal Pre-selection Service shall not be available until thirty (30) days before the flight’s scheduled departure time;
1.3 In the event that in-flight pre-selected meals may not suit your dietary requirements. You may request for a special meal via the Hong Kong Airlines Call Center hotline 3916-3666 at least twenty-four (24) hours prior to the scheduled departure time of your flight.
2. Flight Changes
2.1 If you change the flight booking or departure time, Hong Kong Airlines will automatically cancel your meal selection request. In the circumstances, you will not be able to enjoy the In-flight Meal Pre-selection Service for your alternative flight.
3.1 For customers with food allergies/intolerances, Hong Kong Airlines cannot guarantee the absence of inadvertent meal contamination by certain ingredients such as peanuts/nuts products or their residue. Traces of such ingredients may still be present in our meals and we still cannot guarantee a completely peanuts/nuts-related allergens free environment in our In-flight Meal Pre-selection Service.
3.2 Where applicable, we urge customers to take all necessary medical precautions to prepare for exposure to allergens that may potentially occur.
4.1 Hong Kong Airlines Terms and Conditions form an integral part of these conditions.
4.3 To select this service, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions and that all information supplied by you in order to request for In-flight Meal Pre-selection Service is accurate. You further represent that you will only make reservations for yourself or for another person on whose behalf you are entitled to act and which person also complies these requirements.
4.4 We may use your email address from time to time provided to inform you about the status of your order.
5. Limitations of Liability
5.1 While Hong Kong Airlines will make reasonable efforts to fulfil all meal requests, meal choices cannot be guaranteed.
5.2 Hong Kong Airlines reserves the right to make changes in our meals that may become unavailable due to operational circumstances.
5.3 Hong Kong Airlines do not make any warranty or representation as to the accuracy or completeness of any third party services providers (gategroup, eGate Solutions and Gate Gourmet)’s landing page, or that the operation of the landing page will be uninterrupted or error free or that the landing page will be free from any viruses, Trojans, worms or any other electronic anomalies. The information on the landing page is periodically added, deleted, changed, improved, or updated by third party services provides without notice. Under no circumstances shall Hong Kong Airlines be liable for any loss, damage, liability or expense incurred or suffered which is claimed to be arising out of the use of the landing page including, but not limited to, any fault, error, omission, interruption or delay. Hong Kong Airlines shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages in relation to In-flight Meal Pre-selection Service, even if Hong Kong Airlines have been advised of the possibility of the associated risks.
5.4 This Terms and Conditions of Services is written in both Chinese and English. In case of ambiguities resulted from the two versions, the English version prevails.
